Our organization lifts up the ASU Band Program, public school bands in the area, develops solid leadership in its members, and helps prepare them for their professional lives. With your help we can reach even higher.

Although we can be found across the net, the forums are the official place where Brothers meet to reconnect, tell jokes, and sometimes discuss projects. They're free to sign up, so we hope to see you there!

The Active Members of EK respect and appreciate the alumni who have come before. Without their hard work and dedication over the decades that this chapter has existed, we would not have the many great opportunities this chapter offers today. As such, Epsilon Kappa strives to honor their Alumni and Life members, as well as to keep them informed and otherwise as involved as possible. The chapter fosters its alumni relations in several ways:

The Epsilon Kappa Alumni Association

We are currently in the process of forming a Local Alumni Association exclusive to the Brothers of the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. This is perhaps the most exciting development in our alumni relations.

Once established, this group will host its own alumni social events, and may also become involved in service projects to benefit the chapter, the band, and music throughout the Concho Valley.

Anniversary Banquets

Anniversary Banquets have been a long standing tradition for the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. They are a celebration of our organization's life, mission, and members.

This is always a great opportunity for Alumni and Life Members to reconnect with their Brothers. More than that, it's an opportunity for Brothers from all four decades of EK history to meet each other while celebrating the collaborative effort that makes up our chapter's history.

While most banquets are held at local restraunts, every five years the chapter goes all out by renting a beautiful venue and bringing in well respected catering for the event. Each event also features a special speaker (either the Chapter President or an important Alumni Member), and the Leave Your Mark Award is presented by the active Chapter to its most outstanding alumni of the past year.

Chapter Communications

One of the most important links for Alumni and Life Members to the active Chapter is our newsletters and online outlets.

The Epsilon Kappa Connection is a newsletter that is mailed out to everyone who we have updated contact information for. 1-2 issues are mailed out each year. It features articles that summarize what the chapter has accomplished since the last newsletter was mailed. Topics include Candidate Classes, Fundraising, Service Projects, Brotherhood, and of course, a letter from the Chapter President.

The chapter website provides approximately four articles a month which highlight specific activities of the chapter. These articles are promoted to alumni members through our EK E-Newsletter, which is sent to all alumni members who sign up for it.

We also have an EK alumni group on Facebook, as well as a dedicated alumni page on Myspace. Still another place where alumni can communicate is on our chapter forums, which is exclusively for EK members. The active Chapter is also part of this forum, making it the perfect place for Brothers from all four decades to connect with eachother.

All of these things we do, we do for our Alumni and Life Members. It also goes to show that once you enter the Brotherhood of the Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, you're enterting a Brotherhood for a lifetime.
